Nicolas is founder of and senior advisor at Swiss Circular Economy. He has 30 years of operational experience as senior manager at international companies leading in their fields.

Passionate about circular economy and plastic recycling he led the development in IKEA to implement recycled plastic materials in IKEAs product range.

With 25 years in plastic business he, among other, developed a process to recycle plastic sorted from household waste to a premium recycled plastic material.

As CEO and Deputy General Manager he managed two successful global company start-ups in raw material trading and production.

Swiss Circular Economy was established to accelerate the transition into a circular economy of plastics.

To transform business from a linear economy to a circular economy we need to change not only our supply chain and how we procure our material. It starts with a circular business model and a circular strategy, followed by designing for circularity. Then circular economy in the supply chain can be developed.
